In 2007, after trying his hand in the fashion and the communication industries, Nicolas Blandin decided it was time for him to pursue his passion for the decorative arts.

Building on the success of his first hammered metal furniture collection, edited by Asiatides, Nicolas Blandin turned to ceramics as a new way to express his creativity. He now works for historically renowned ceramic houses such as Les Emaux de Longwy or Henriot Quimper Faiences where he creates unique hand-painted pieces based on traditional shapes. This delicate material provides an ideal support for his technique, combining Chinese ink and gouache.

Nicolas Blandin also designs custom pieces for distinguished clients that attract the attention of the press.

In the spring of 2014, the Ecart gallery, on Jacob Street in Paris 6th arrondissement, hosted his first paintings exhibition.
